크리스찬디올은 프랑스 럭셔리 브랜드로, 1946년 창립자 인 크리스챤 디올(Christian Dior)에 의해 설립되었다.
1947년 첫부티크가 열리며 꽃봉오리를 뜻하는 '코롤라(Corolla)'로 관능적인 아름다움을 완성하는 드래스를 선보였고,
뉴룩(New Look)의 창시하며,
다양한 실루엣을 만들어 냈다.
'H라인', 'Y라인', 'A라인' 등을 발표하며,
특히 1950년 'A라인'은 1950년대 패션계에 또다른 매커였다.
무엇보다 #뉴룩은 샤넬이 제거한 코르셋을 화려한 고전으로 부각하여 탄생시킨 디올의 혁신적인 스타일이었고,
